Well, hot damn! Echoes in Falls City, book 4 in the Marti Starova Mystery series, is on the shelves.
Echoes in Falls City was released February 9, 2024. We chose February 9th so you can buy it as a Valentine’s Day. Because nothing says “I love you” more than a drug addicted sex fanatic trying to solve a murder.

Start with Slander
Echoes in Falls City starts with an iconic Marti question, which I won’t tell you because it’s hilarious, but it does include the word “fuck”. As always.
Marti Starova and Lori Harring begin work on a simple slander case: a restaurant that’s targeted by an online troll. While at the resto, Marti makes out with a hostess and says hello to the parents of a girl whose murder she once investigated.
Add a Missing Couple
Marti returns to the office, gets high, and is late for her own appointment: Henrick Katsaros is looking for his parents. Isabella and Andreas haven’t checked in with their son for a couple of days and Henrick hires Marti to track them down.
It doesn’t take long for Marti to find them walking into a secretive, invite-only building. A former one-night stand and her wife bring Marti into the building: a glass-walled sex club, where the trio couple (ha! See what I did there?) Too bad Marti was more interested in orgasms than proof of locating her clients. Too bad it means another trip back to the club.
A Second Missing Man… Or Is It?
Before Marti can get there, a new client arrives and brings a twist to the investigation: Andreas is a bigamist whose daughter is looking for her missing father.
The next night, Andreas and Isabella accost and rob Marti outside the building. Marti declines the request to join them in the club, but gets busted for possession before she can clear the area. The Federal Unified Crime Taskforce (FUCT) had stormed in to investigate the club, and Agent Heather Blair had taken an interest in Marti. Heather also has an interest in Andreas Katsaros, a money man for drug lord Ari Stirling, who was murdered at the club.
Murder Pays the Bills
Paid by Ari, Marti begins her hunt for Andreas’s killer. As she and Lori get closer to the answer, there are attempts on their lives. Undeterred, Marti presses on and is shocked to discover the truth.
